Together with her parents and an older sister aged 6 years, she immigrated to West Germany from Wollstein Rhineland Palatinate in 1988. Helene Fischer studied acting as well as singing at the Frankfurt Stage & Musical School in West Germany for three consecutive years following she graduated from high school. Helene was a stage performer at the Volkstheater Frankfurt and in the Staatstheater Darmstadt. Since May 2008, she has been with Florian Silbereisen. Fischer was presented with a wax sculpture in the month of October at the Berlin Madame Tussauds Museum. Career During Fischers studies at Stage & Musical School in Berlin, her mother in secret created a disc of six songs written by Fischer, and then sent it around to recording studios. The idea was to test how professionals reacted. Fischers performance debut took place on May 14th, 2005 in a show of TV channel ARD. A duet took place with Florian Silbereisen. They later got together. They have been the recipients of 17 Echo Awards the Goldene Henne 7 times the Bambi Award three times, and the Krone der Volksmusik 4 times. All of her albums and DVDs include multiple gold or platinum certificates.
